Understanding the Benefits That Life Coaching Can Bring

Why A Life Coach?

Everyone experiences challenges in life: becoming a caregiver for a significantly ill family member or friend; experiencing the loss of a loved one; being blindsided by stressful or unwanted changes at home or at work. These are just a few examples and most come with little notice but with significant impact to the life we are used to.

When you’re going through similar circumstances, it is often difficult to be encouraged. The day-to-day tasks can take over (or become) our focus, making the light at the end of the tunnel or any sense of joy something very far in the distance if in view at all.

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines life coaching as, “providing an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performance and enhance the quality of their lives…trained to listen, observe and customize their approach to individual client needs…”
